The Neuropsychology Assessment Service is an independent private
practice committed exclusively to the implementation of
neuropsychological assessment, rehabilitation, and behavioral health.
Dr. Olafsson is in his ninth year of providing neuropsychological
services throughout Florida. He is certified by the Florida Department
of Education to provide evaluations for worker's compensation
disability claims, previously provided Intensive Care Unit assessment
and consultation for the Halifax Hospital traumatic brain injury team,
and continues to provide disability evaluations for federal, state, and
local municipalities.
Neuropsychology services are designed to provide cost-effective
evaluations to diagnose, clarify, and confirm disability and impairment
due to traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia, and psychological
disturbance.
The Behavioral Health Service is designed to assist patients in
overcoming anxiety and depression related to illness and injury, and
cope with stressors which may exacerbate symptoms.
With office and satellite locations in Orlando, Tampa, St. Petersburg,
Sarasota, Jacksonville, Plantation, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Ft.
Lauderdale, Naples, Ft. Myers, Hollywood, Plantation, Daytona
Beach, and Miami areas, objective, and thorough analyses pertaining to
brain injury and disability are provided to consumers, attorneys,
physicians, and insurance providers for them to make informed
decisions for themselves or on behalf of clients and patients.
